Fellow Wild Turkey enthusiasts,
The Mason Dixon Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will be hosting
our 22nd annual banquet on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at the Alert/Emigsville
Firehall in Emigsville. Click Here for the Registration Form. Doors will open at 4:30 PM and
dinner is at 6:00 PM. The agenda includes raffles along with a verbal and silent
auction. We expect to conclude around 10:15 PM.
The NWTF Hunting Heritage Banquets reflect our Mission Statement: The Conservation of the Wild Turkey and the
Preservation of the Hunting Tradition. Revenues raised at these banquets
help support wild turkey habitat in our area and across the state, along
with our outreach programs: JAKES, Women-in-the-Outdoors, and Wheelin’ Sportsmen.
You will be impressed with the merchandise at our banquet. We have continued
to replace some of the art prints with other unique home
furnishings while adding some prints that have a whole new appearance. The “canvas
glicees” are prints on canvas which look very similar to originals. Other
notable merchandise include:
- 2007 Gun of the Year - a Browning 12 gauge BPS shotgun with upgraded walnut and gold engraving.
- Knife of the Year by internationally known knife maker Bob Dill of Loveland, Colorado.
- Thomas Kinkade is our “Featured Artist of the Year” and his print “Mountain Retreat” is sure to be a homerun. Kinkade is known as “The Painter of Light”.
- Four bronze sculptures – one each of a whitetail deer buck, bull elk, gobbler and a mule deer buck.
- 40 inch mule deer antler chandelier.
- Elk antler floor lamp.
- Deer ceiling fan.
- Lynch boxcall collection.
- NWTF bedding.
- Artwork by top artists such as: Ned Smith, Terry Redlin, Marian Anderson, Jack
Paluh, Dave Barnhouse, Tom Mansanarez, Darrell Bush and Jim Killen.
- And lots more.
