Spring Gobbler season is fast approaching and I hope Everyone has a SAFE and Enjoyable season. If you can, take a youth out Hunting on the early Youth Hunt or during the season. You'll both enjoy the time!

Update on Events since our last newsletter:

• Our Jakes Event was held the weekend following the Banquet last year and will be the same day as the Banquet this year, June 14. It's at Jefferson Sportsman Club this year, see and use the Jakes Event Signup Form.
• We have Sub sales several times through out the year to help fund the Chapter and Banquet. Pickup dates and times are the night of the Monthly Meetings (third Wednesday). If you can help out, we’d really appreciate it, just let me know so I can get an order form to you.

We would like to see more people at our Banquet and have added an incentive $150 Cash drawing for signing up a new member for the Banquet. See enclosed Bring a Friend Form.

This year we will give out one Scholarships totaling $1250. Keep it in mind for any upcoming College bound High School Seniors next year.

Several new items available this year at the Hunting Heritage Banquet, including a pistol, Gun of the Year Raffle, and expanded Sportsman’s Raffle.

To enter our yearly contest for Birds (taken this year only), please send in the Long Beard/Long Spur Entry Form before 4/18/08. There is a plaque given for each category.
